What does a full service involve?

Is there a set price for servicing?
  • No, because it depends on the condition and type of your mower.
  • You will be able to discuss the different service options with our technician.
When do I need to book in a service?
  • We service machines in our fully equipped workshop.
  • You bring your mower to us on the day arranged.
  • Mowers can be collected and delivered by prior arrangement. This may incur an additional cost dependent on location. Contact us for further details.
Where will the servicing take place? How will my mower get to you?

Do you carry out emergency repairs?
  • Please contact us to discuss your options.
  • These can be done at our workshop dependent on the type and condition of your machine.
  • Repairs can be made on site by prior arrangement. This will incur an additional cost dependent on the location.
What customer back up do I have when I buy some machinery from you?
  • We are only a phone call away.
  • When you buy from DF&GM it includes a comprehensive PDI (pre-delivery inspection) of your machine.
  • We will discuss with you any specific requirements of the machine, including safety needs and equipment.
  • We offer a back up service for spares and any warranty repairs that may arise.
  • We can arrange delivery. This may incur an additional cost dependent on the location.
How long are the warranties for the machinery you sell?
  • Stihl have 2 years warranty on machinery
  • Honda warranties are up to 7 years, dependant on the service record.
Can I bring my machine to you if it still under warranty but I didn’t buy it from you?
  • Yes If it is Honda or Stihl.
  • For other makes we cannot uphold the warranty but we can discuss repairs with you.

 

Can I buy machines on-line through DGM
  • We are a face-to-face dealership for Honda and Stihl.
  • We offer a personalised service from sales through to servicing needs.
  • You can only buy machines direct from us. They then come to you ready to use. We do the comprehensive PDI (pre-delivery inspection) so that you don’t have to!
  • We only advertise on-line
  • Catalogues are available on request by phone.
  • Anything not on show can be sourced by us.

Please Note: when new machines are delivered by carriers, boxed and un-assembled, from suppliers located around the country, the warranty cover, customer safety and product operator instruction is severely compromised.

How can I pay?
  • We take card, cheque or cash payments in store only.
  • You can buy with confidence from DF&GM
